$650 Signet Bordeaux: 2015 ADGA American Alpine; out of Signet Desert Mirage (out of Madiera Mirage) and sired by Signet Titanium Alloy.
Soft udder and milks out well, she has been a staple producer in the barn. Large substantial body and capacious mammary with a long lactation, consistently producing 8+ lbs (over a gallon a day). Bordeaux knows her name, comes when called, waits at the gate until invited into the milking parlor, and stands nicely while being milked out. Goes on the milk stand, or we can milk her freestanding out in the pasture, she is super to handle.
Large, strong build she passes on to her progeny; she throws lovely daughters, is a great mother and a dream to work with. Nicely shaped teats are easy to handle; her high, wide mammary is gorgeous, and she milks out supple as butter with an empty udder like fine suede!

(Grandma Aruba is currently milking well on her 9th freshening, as a 9 year old. Love that longevity!)

Long, lean lines on this boy, out of Signet Bordeaux (Signet Titanium daughter) and sired by Thoroughbred . This guy is goergous and will probably grow up to be just as impressively built as his mom and grandma!

~ SOLD ~ $600 Signet Avecita Remembered: 2016 ADGA American Alpine out of Signet Sweet Fiesta, by Signet Titanium. Friendly, she follows us on walks, keeps abreast of where we're going and enjoys hugs when we take a break from a fencing project!
Accustomed to horses, our big dogs, small dogs, cats, chickens, turkeys, etc. she is very level headed and sensible with visiting children. She has a good appetite and stays in good milking condition while giving over a gallon daily of sweet, clear milk.

We are cutting most of our junior does, to slim the milking herd to a hopeful Six does... so that means some really nice girls are on the Sale Page! Again, she's from our line of "winter goats", and tested producing 6.59 lbs this spring as a first freshener.
(And yes, she and Aegean were hard to tell apart!) |
