"Bordeaux" (pr: bor-doe) is the grand-daughter of our sadly lost Madeira, out of our only Madeira daughter, Mirage. Perhaps not as amazing as her grandmother, Bordeaux is still an impressive goat, and we are loving having her in the herd. We intend to keep a Bordeaux daughter in the herd; sadly lost her lovely daughter '19 Callais in 2020, she was so close to perfect, great producer, amazing udder, just gorgeous.

Instead, we'll be keeping back Bordeaux's 2021doeling, out of the new buck from Tennesee.

"Mirage" was our consolation prize after losing her mother Madeira and her similarities to her dam helped the loss a little. On her first kidding out she presented us with a "mini-me" look alike back to Madiera again, and we were thrilled to add "Bordeaux" to the line up. We look forward to how she continues to develop.
